Such transformation involves intentional relationships experiencing presence and offering encouragement toward deepening heart and practice. With supportive, care-filled connections in a nurturing environment, our listening hearts can continue to grow and flourish. From seed to sprout to blossom to fruit, Rolling Ridge desires to offer regular support and companionship opportunities that cooperate with God's presence and ongoing activity.
PEER
SUPERVISION Groups

Peer Supervision offers the opportunity for connection, insight and support among those living into their vocation of spiritual direction/deep listening. Through a time-tested group process with rotating roles, each gathering gives time for attending to real experiences with contemplative, compassionate reflection.

Peer Supervision Groups form as Full Members indicate their interest in participating in a group. Seasoned facilitators host an initial "meet and greet" and coach each group's early gatherings. Each group determines their best monthly time to meet. All groups will meet for at least 10 months.

Are you new to spiritual direction and wonder where you might find ongoing support for your developing practice? Have you been listening with people (aka, directees) for some time and realize the need for supervision? "EnVision" is a guided learning cohort that accents the value of supervision, equips you with skills in peer supervision, and prepares you to form or join a peer supervision group as a vital part of your spiritual direction/deep listening efforts. Guided by seasoned supervisors, this online cohort will meet the third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. - 12 noon (eastern).

Once each year, Full Members are invited to an overnight, guided Renewal Retreat hosted onsite at Rolling Ridge Retreat Center. Stepping out of the ordinary swirls of a listening life, this time apart offers a chance to catch your breath, reflect through silence and other contemplative practices, and reconnect with God/Divine Source. Pause and Rest. Nothing else is required of you but to simply be present...to simply be.

& Referrals
Basic and Full Memberships in The Listening Collective include being listed in a Directory of Spiritual Directors & Supervisors. This directory is a non-public, administrative resource that is used to introduce those inquiring about spiritual directors to potential spiritual directors/ deep listeners included in the Directory. Rolling Ridge takes no further action beyond introductions. We update this Directory on an annual basis.
